Yes, we sure are! Reusable Planet™ is proudly Australian-owned and managed. We’ve been helping busy families easily live more sustainably since 2018.
Orders are packed and shipped from the Gold Coast, Australia, so you’re supporting a local small business when you shop here, as well as the multitude of small Aussie brands we stock.
>> Are your products really non-toxic?
Short answer - yes.
Longer answer - we don’t stock anything we’re not comfortable using in our own homes, especially around kids. We actively look for safer materials (like stainless steel, glass, silicone and natural fibres) and avoid products that rely on questionable plastics or harsh chemicals.
If there’s ever something that needs extra explanation, it will always be in the product description.
>> How do you choose the products you stock?
There’s a lot of “greenwashing” out there, so this is an important question. Every product is chosen based on a mix of:
- Safer materials
- Practicality - it actually has to work in real life! We test every product to make sure it does what it says it will do!
- Durability
- Supplier transparency
If it’s fiddly, fragile, or just not realistic for a busy household… it doesn’t make the cut.
>> Are your products suitable for kids?
Many of them are - especially our drink bottles, lunchboxes, and everyday swaps. We know from experience how rough school bags can be (and how short attention spans are), so we lean towards products that are:
- Durable
- Easy to use
- Low-fuss to clean
We have an entire Eco Kids department full of products especially for kids and babies!
>> Are your products dishwasher safe?
Some are, some aren’t. It really depends on the material. We usually include care instructions on the product page, but if in doubt, gentle hand washing will always help your items last longer (and stay looking good).
>> Where are your products made?
This varies depending on the product and supplier. Where we have that information, it’s included on the product page. We always aim to work with brands that are transparent about their materials and manufacturing.
We have many Aussie brands and Aussie made products and preference Aussie suppliers where possible.
>> What’s the best product to start with?
If you’re just getting started on your less waste journey, we usually recommend beginning with the swaps you use every day, like drink bottles, lunchboxes, or reusable kitchen items. These are easy wins that reduce waste without adding extra effort, and they tend to stick long-term.
>> Do you offer advice on what products to choose?
Absolutely - that’s kind of our thing :)

>> Are your lunchboxes and drink bottles really leak-proof?
Ahh, the million-dollar question. Many of the products we stock are designed to be leak-resistant or leak-proof, but it can depend on how they’re used (and what’s inside them).
We’re always as clear as possible in product descriptions about what to expect. If something is truly leak-proof, the description will say so (and it's been tested by us). If it’s better for dry foods only, you’ll read about that too.
>> How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are packed and dispatched from Queensland as quickly as possible, usually within a couple of business days. Delivery times will then depend on your location.
Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive tracking details so you can keep an eye on it.

>> How much is shipping?
We offer a subsidised flat rate for standard domestic shipping in Australia. Express and international options are available at checkout and calculated based on your order.

>> Where are orders packed and shipped from?
All orders are packed and shipped from Queensland, Australia. Every product is checked before it goes out, and occasionally, there might be a little surprise included too.
>> What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay securely using credit card, debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay/Google Pay, Amex, and Afterpay (including PayPal Pay in 4). All prices are listed in Australian dollars.
>> Will I get tracking for my order?
Yes indeed! As soon as your order is dispatched, you’ll receive an email with your tracking details so you can follow its journey.
>> What if something doesn’t work for me?
We get it - sometimes things just aren’t the right fit. If you’re not happy with your purchase, get in touch and we’ll work through a solution together.
